1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using MYPE IELTS ("we," "us," or "our") and its services, you ("you" or "user") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Service

MYPE IELTS is a software-as-a-service platform that provides AI-powered tools for IELTS-style practice and self-study. The platform is not a tutoring service, coaching service, or ghostwriting service. It includes:

• Diagnostic practice tasks to assess your current level
• AI-generated educational feedback on Writing and Speaking submissions
• Personalised study planning based on your practice results
• Practice exercises for IELTS-style tasks
• Progress tracking and learning progress indicators
• Self-study workflows and practice-based feedback

MYPE IELTS does not provide human tutoring, official certification, exam completion, or guaranteed exam results. All practice content is completed by the user.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

Our service is intended for users aged 16 and older. Users under 18 should use the service with permission from a parent or guardian. To access our services, you must also:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login information confidential
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access
• Ensuring your account information remains current and accurate

4. Free and Paid Services

Free Tier

Our free tier may include limited access to selected diagnostic tasks, basic progress features, sample AI feedback, or other free features as displayed in the app. The availability, scope, and limits of free features may change over time at our discretion.

Paid Subscriptions

Paid plans provide:

• Access to additional mock exercises, practice tasks, AI feedback, and learning features according to the selected subscription plan. Usage limits may apply.
• Full AI-generated educational feedback on Writing and Speaking
• Personalised study planning
• Detailed learning progress indicators and performance insights

5. Acceptable Use

Permitted Uses

You may use our platform to:

• Practise IELTS-style tasks for personal self-study
• Complete practice exercises and review AI feedback
• Track your own progress and study plan
• Access study materials for personal, non-commercial use

Prohibited Activities

You may not use MYPE IELTS to:

• Share your account with others or create multiple accounts
• Copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or publicly share platform content without permission
• Use automated tools to access, scrape, or extract platform content
• Submit content that is offensive, harmful, or violates others' rights
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage our systems
• Use our platform for any illegal purpose
• Submit AI-generated feedback or content as official exam or academic work
• Cheat on exams or assessments using the platform
• Request or use the platform to complete academic or exam work on your behalf
• Use the service for ghostwriting, essay writing, or misrepresentation

Users are responsible for completing their own work.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Our Content

All practice tasks, study materials, graphics, and other content provided by MYPE IELTS are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may access this content for personal, non-commercial self-study only. Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or publicly share platform content without permission.

Your Content

By submitting writing responses, speaking recordings, or other practice content, you grant MYPE IELTS a limited licence to process, store, analyse, and display that content only as needed to provide the service, generate feedback, maintain your account, improve platform quality, and comply with legal obligations. Your content remains yours. We do not sell your user-submitted content. We do not use identifiable practice submissions for model training unless we have a lawful basis or your consent.

We do not use speaking recordings for biometric identification or to uniquely identify users.

7. Payment and Subscriptions

Pricing

Subscription prices are displayed at checkout and may change with reasonable notice. You will be informed of price changes before your next billing cycle.

Billing and Paddle

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record and authorised reseller. Paddle handles payment processing, billing, taxes, invoices, refunds, and subscription-related transactions. You may see Paddle on payment pages, invoices, receipts, bank or card statements, or billing communications. MYPE IELTS does not store your full card details.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time before the next billing period through your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period. Access continues until the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise stated.

Refunds

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy. Except where required by law or approved by Paddle, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once access to the paid service has been provided. Refunds may be considered for duplicate charges, billing errors, verified technical issues that prevent access to the paid service, or cases required by applicable law or Paddle policies.

8. AI-Generated Feedback Disclaimer

MYPE IELTS uses artificial intelligence to provide educational feedback on practice submissions.

• AI feedback is for educational purposes only and is not an official assessment
• AI feedback may be incomplete, inaccurate, or different from official IELTS examiner scoring
• Users should not rely on AI feedback as an official or authoritative evaluation
• MYPE IELTS does not guarantee any IELTS band score or official exam result
• We continuously work to improve our AI but cannot guarantee perfect accuracy

9. IELTS Trademark and Independence Notice

IELTS is a registered trademark of the University of Cambridge, the British Council, and IDP Education Australia. MYPE IELTS is an independent software platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by, or officially connected to IELTS, the British Council, IDP, Cambridge, or any official IELTS organisation.

10. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable access to the service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

11. No Guarantee of Results

MYPE IELTS is designed to support your self-study and practice. We cannot guarantee specific test results or official IELTS band scores. Your actual exam performance depends on many factors including your own effort, practice time, and test-day conditions.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MYPE IELTS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, lost data, exam outcomes, or loss of opportunity arising from your use of the platform or reliance on AI-generated feedback.

13. Account Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraud or payment abuse
• Abuse of the platform or other users
• Security risks or illegal activity
• Attempts to scrape, copy, or resell platform content

Upon cancellation or termination, your access to paid features continues until the end of your current billing period unless the account was terminated for a breach of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [INSERT JURISDICTION], unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
